On 3rd and 10, Flynn completes a 10 yard, 1 inch pass...according to the refs, anyway. Why not ask for a measurement? WTF?
UGH. 3rd and 6, Flynn under a heavy rush, scrambles, and finds a receiver at the Lions' 36. OUCH. Flynn took a shot from the Lions d-line...
Flynn is getting beat up, he takes another hit on 2nd and 4 from the 20. Incomplete. But Flynn finds Findley inside the the 10 on 3rd down, setting up 1st and goal.
Passes on 1st and 2nd down are patted high into the air, and fall incomplete. Flynn has been awful on 1st and 2nd downs, solid on 3rd downs.
But this time, Flynn comes up short on 3rd down. He has to dump off his throw to the FB, who is stopped at the 5 yard line.
Pack settle for the PAT length FG. 9-3 Lions with 5:55 left in the 1st quarter.
Stafford comes out throwing from the 20, finds Megatron for 20, and again n for 19 more. With just 2 plays, the Lions are in Packers' territory.
Stafford makes a nice play, finding Smith on a shovel pass...but Smith his hit from behind, and coughs up the ball. Dumb, got to tuck the ball away. Packers return the fumble to the Lions' 48.
Lions, please don't do this...
Packers on the move after the turnover, 1st and 10 from the 20. Flynn scrambles for a yard on 1st down, but completes a pass inside the 5 on 2nd down.
Lions making Flynn look like the next coming of Aaron Rodgers.
And the Pack take the lead, as Nelson takes a short pass, then makes Alphonso Smith look foolish with a straight-arm.
